Platform

Where do the prices come from?

Moon’s published data sources and the context behind extended-hours prices.

Multiple inputs

Moon says it aggregates independent sources into a platform price. Its provider list includes DXFeed, Pyth Pro and SEDA Protocol. This hub summarizes Moon’s description; it does not independently audit the feed.

Why aggregate?

Moon describes multiple providers as a way to reduce dependence on one feed, handle outliers and continue during interruptions. Aggregation does not promise that prices will never change unexpectedly.

Outside exchange hours

Moon describes continuous wagering on supported assets. Certain equity prices use independent inputs and oracle infrastructure while the primary exchange is closed. SEDA may incorporate liquid perpetual-futures markets where appropriate.

Read the methodology and specific market information before assuming another chart’s price is directly equivalent. An extended-hours platform price needs its own context.

Moonbase is independent and is not operated by Moon. Wagering involves risk and you can lose your entire stake.
