Moon.com referral code MAX at a glance
Moon Explained’s Moon.com referral code is MAX. Open Moon with code MAX. We may receive a commission if you register through this referral link. Offer eligibility and benefits depend on Moon’s current terms.
On 18 October 2026, we opened this link in a public browser and inspected Moon’s email-registration form. Its optional “Offer code” field was prefilled with max in lowercase. We did not enter registration details, accept the terms, create an account or test reward activation. The prefilled field does not establish that a signup will qualify for a particular benefit.
Moon's rakeback help article describes 3.5% back on eligible fees when activated. It says accounts created through cooperating affiliates or streamers normally receive activation. A code printed on another website still needs its own evidence: which offer applies, who qualifies and whether Moon has activated the benefit for that account.
Referral links, offer codes and affiliate commission
A referral link can identify the publisher who introduced an account. An offer code can identify a particular signup promotion. Attribution and the new user's benefit are separate questions.
Moon's cookies policy, updated 24 August 2026, describes separate cookies for affiliate campaign attribution and signup-offer codes. The listed storage periods are 30 days and seven days respectively. Those browser-storage periods do not establish an offer's expiry date or guarantee attribution after a browser change.
The payment to an affiliate is another distinction. Moon's affiliate program page describes a default commission of 10% of theoretical profit generated by referrals. That is a payment calculation for the referring affiliate. It does not promise the invited user 10% cashback, a deposit match or a share of that commission.
What the documented rakeback benefit covers
The English rakeback article describes a 3.5% rebate on fees from opening a wager and closing a profitable wager. Activation is a condition. It also describes a separate Bronze VIP route through a VIP manager; a referral code is therefore not the only documented activation route.
Once activated, the documented account location is Account > VIP > Rakeback. The article directs users to Moon support when expected affiliate activation is missing. It does not certify every code advertised by a third party.
There is a source discrepancy around holding costs: the English article's fee list omits holding fees, while the Spanish translation includes them. We do not count holding fees as confirmed rebate-eligible costs in this guide. Moon would need to resolve the applicable account terms before that wider claim could be relied on.
For calculations and activation details, see our Moon.com rakeback guide.
What 3.5% means in actual money
A fee rebate uses the eligible fee as its base. For illustration, $100 of eligible fees multiplied by 3.5% equals $3.50. It does not return 3.5% of the amount deposited, total wagered or lost.
Moon's fee explanation states that the opening fee is 1% of the wager amount. A hypothetical $1,000 wager therefore has a $10 opening fee. If that fee qualifies and rakeback is active, 3.5% of $10 is $0.35. This calculation illustrates the fee base; it is not a return forecast or a reason to wager.
Account rounding and eligibility can affect the credited amount. A rebate also leaves wagering losses and the remaining fees to be paid. Our Moon fees guide explains the different costs separately.
A checklist for checking a Moon.com promo code
Begin with the offer's exact wording on Moon's own service or in written confirmation from Moon support. Record the code or referral destination, the benefit and the date checked. A publisher's recent page date alone does not verify the offer.
Check who qualifies: new or existing accounts, eligible jurisdictions and any account-attribution requirement. Then check the calculation base, activation conditions and any stated cap. For a cash bonus, also look for the minimum qualifying amount, expiry and the rules for withdrawing promotional funds and resulting winnings.
Finally, separate the advertised terms from account status. Save the terms that actually apply and check whether the promised benefit is visible in the account. If key conditions are missing, ask Moon to identify them before treating the headline as an entitlement. A successful code entry would not, by itself, prove every advertised claim.
How to assess 20% or 25% fee-discount claims
A claim of a 20% or 25% discount needs offer-specific evidence. The official 3.5% rakeback explanation reviewed here does not substantiate either percentage. Only offer-specific Moon terms could establish a different player benefit, so ask which written terms support the advertised discount.
The fee base matters as much as the headline. On a $10 eligible fee, a 3.5% rebate is $0.35; a 20% reduction would be $2. Neither percentage establishes a discount across every fee category. Ask whether the claim concerns opening fees, performance fees, holding costs or a separate reward, and whether it is credited later or changes the fee charged. Compare those answers using the same fee amount.
Existing accounts and missing activation
If an account already exists, Moon support is the appropriate source for its attribution and rakeback status. Provide the referral link or code originally used, the registration date if known, and the benefit that was advertised. Ask whether the account qualifies and which activation rule applies.
The public help article offers support assistance, but does not promise that an existing account can switch affiliates, add a code retroactively or receive rebates on previously paid fees. Those outcomes remain unverified here. Do not create another account to try to obtain a reward: Moon's terms contain one-account and promotion-abuse restrictions.
The account setup guide covers registration and verification separately. Our check was limited to the public email-registration form and its prefilled offer field. We did not test an account’s attribution, code acceptance or rakeback activation.
Eligibility comes before any referral offer
Moon's terms of service, updated 15 September 2026, require the higher of age 18 or the local legal age. Section 3.2 prohibits users connected to many jurisdictions, including the United States and United Kingdom. Citizenship, residence and location matter. Additional licensing and sanctions conditions mean absence from the named list does not establish eligibility.
A referral code cannot override those conditions. Moon's account verification article says KYC must be submitted before depositing and approved before withdrawing. Offer verification does not replace those checks. Withdrawal review, limits and applicable fees also remain relevant under the terms.
Cash bonuses, deposit matches and wagering rules
The public documents reviewed and our signup-form check do not establish a particular cash signup bonus or deposit match for code MAX. Any such benefit would need its own current Moon offer terms; other accounts or campaigns may have different offers.
Section 10 of Moon's terms makes promotions subject to offer-specific conditions. Unless those conditions say otherwise, bonus funds and resulting winnings have a disclosed wagering requirement before withdrawal eligibility. The general clause establishes no universal multiplier.
Our Play Money guide explains simulated balances, which should also be kept separate from withdrawable promotional cash.
